Research and Development

At Catercorp, innovation drives everything we do. Our dedicated Research & Development team works closely with clients to create custom condiment, sauce, and spice solutions that meet your exact specifications. Whether you’re developing a brand-new recipe or optimizing an existing product, we are here to bring your vision to life, using our expertise and state-of-the-art kitchen facilities. From conceptualization to final production, our process ensures precision, quality, and customer satisfaction every step of the way.

OUR R&D process
  • 1. Initial Consultation
We begin with a briefing meeting, either face-to-face or online, to determine if we’re the right match for your needs. This step ensures both parties understand the project’s scope and expectations.

    2. Agreements & Account Setup
Once we’re aligned, we proceed with signing an NDA, NPD Agreement, and a Customer Take-On Form. We will then open a COD account, and a deposit is required to begin the project.

    3. Product Introduction & Analysis
We analyze your existing product or proposed recipe. This is followed by booking the first set of kitchen trials, where you are invited to collaborate with our team to achieve the perfect sample.

    4. Packaging & Certification
We work together on selecting packaging options, whether using our stock or sourcing bespoke packaging. We also facilitate Kosher & Halaal certification, ensuring our products meet your standards.

    5. Kitchen Trials & Sign-Off
Once the sample meets your approval, we move forward with factory formulation and schedule a small factory trial (usually 25 liters) for bulk production sign-off.

    6. Final Product Testing & Labeling
Following successful kitchen trials, we complete ingredient declarations, nutritional analysis, and barcode generation. The first production run, or Maiden Pot, will be scheduled, and samples will undergo shelf-life testing.

    7. Packaging & Dispatch
After final approvals and payment reconciliation, the product will be ready for dispatch, accompanied by a completed Product Specification.
