Hot & Spicy Mexican Beans

A delicious & spicy side dish of Mexican Beans. Easily preserved and stored in jars.



  • Drain and rinse the soaked beans.
  • Simmer in a large pot covered with water for 45 minutes until almost tender. Drain well.
  • Preheat over to 180°C.
  • Place beans and remaining ingredients in a large roasting pan.
  • Mix well and season.
  • Cover with foil and bake for 30-40 minutes, until beans are tender.
  • Spoon into sterilised jars and seal tightly.
